Opening of the 4th Danang Asian Film Festival in 2026
At the opening ceremony of the 4th Danang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV) on the evening of June 28, Deputy Prime Minister Phạm Thị Thanh Trà highly appreciated the efforts to build DANAFF into a bridge between Vietnamese cinema and the region and the world, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese cinema in international integration.
Highlighting that the film industry offers immense potential, contributing to promoting the country's image and creating development momentum, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested continuing to improve policies, developing a cinema ecosystem linked with culture, tourism, and the creative industry, and turning Danang into a reputable destination for filmmakers and international film events.

Portugal and China advance to the finals of DIFF 2026
The Organizing Committee of the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 announced that the two best teams are Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display Co., Ltd (China) and Macedos Pirotecnia (Portugal), who have earned the right to compete in the DIFF 2026 final on the evening of July 11, with the theme "Connected Horizons."
In addition to the Champion and Runner-up awards, DIFF 2026 will also present the Most Popular Team Award, voted by the audience. Notably, the Organizing Committee has added two new awards, the Creativity Award and the Prospective Award, to recognize the outstanding quality of the participating teams this year.
DIFF 2026 will award the Champion prize of USD 20,000 along with a Trophy and Certificate, the Runner-up prize of USD 10,000, and the Most Popular Team Award as voted by the audience. At the meeting with His Excellency Adam Mulawarman Tugio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam, on the afternoon of June 22, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng affirmed that Danang wishes to strengthen cooperation with Indonesia in the fields of tourism, trade, investment, education, environment, high technology, and the Halal industry, contributing to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Indonesia.
