Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh receives Indian Navy delegation
On the afternoon of July 24, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh chaired a reception for the Indian Navy delegation led by Rear Admiral Susheel Menon, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, Indian Navy, and Colonel S. Muthukrishman, Indian Defense Attaché to Vietnam.
At the reception, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh expressed his hope that the Indian naval ship, its commander, officers, and sailors would engage in exchanges with local agencies, armed forces, and the people of Da Nang during their stay. This would contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two countries, especially by promoting cultural exchanges and attracting Indian tourists to Vietnam and Da Nang, as well as Vietnamese and Da Nang tourists to India.

Ensure all the best conditions for the 25th International Mathematics Competition in Da Nang
Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi requested to ensure the best conditions for the 25th International Mathematics Competition (VIMC), scheduled to take place from August 14 to 19 at the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU). This is a large-scale international event with the participation of 31 international delegations, 516 students, and 218 teachers, along with two delegations from Vietnam.
The exam is jointly organized by the Department of Education and Training, VKU, and IEG Global Joint Stock Company. To date, the Steering Committee has established sub-committees, surveyed the facilities, and developed a preliminary organizational plan.
The Vice Chairwoman emphasized that the examination is an opportunity to affirm the educational prestige and position of Da Nang on the international stage; she requested that relevant units proactively cooperate and thoroughly prepare the facilities, ensuring absolute security and safety, while also enhancing communication and promoting the city's image to international friends.

Bat Cave is recognized as a city-level scenic spot
On the morning of July 21, the Thanh Binh Commune People's Committee held a ceremony to receive the recognition of the scenic site ranking for Bat Cave. Deputy Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized that the city-level ranking of the site is a worthy recognition of the historical, cultural, and geological value of Bat Cave, while also demonstrating the government's commitment to preserving and promoting the heritage.
Bat Cave not only carries geological and environmental significance but is also closely linked to the revolutionary history of the land of Tien Phuoc – which was once a secret base and logistics facility during the resistance against the French and Americans. This place was a refuge and a weapon production site for many armed units.
The Vice Chairwoman suggested that Thanh Binh commune streamline its management operations, complete legal documentation, enhance the communication and education of heritage, and develop a tourism - learning - experience route connecting Bat Cave with nearby monuments. At the same time, it encourages socialization and mobilization of resources for the preservation and restoration of the heritage sites.
She also called on the community to work together to preserve and promote the value of the historical site, spreading the spirit of patriotism and revolutionary traditions to future generations.
