Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Yen stated that Settsu’s visit to Da Nang continues to affirm the importance of the extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia between Viet Nam and Japan.

Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Ngo Thi Kim Yen believed that this visit by Settsu would contribute to enhancing understanding and exchanges between the Japanese Coast Guard and the Vietnamese Coast Guard as well as deepen the cooperative relationship between the two countries in general and between Da Nang and Japanese localities and businesses in particular.

Colonel Niwa Satoshi deeply appreciated the city leaders and related departments, agencies, and units for creating favorable conditions for Settsu’s visit showing the close partnership between Viet Nam and Japan.

According to Colonel Niwa Satoshi, this visit also aims to enhance coordination between the Japanese Coast Guard and the Vietnamese Coast Guard since it is a good opportunity for the two sides to share experiences in law enforcement at sea and enhance exchanges and mutual understanding.
