On the afternoon of August 30th, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City’s Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang had a meeting with Consul General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang upon his visit to congratulate the City’s Party Committee, Government, and people on the 77th anniversary of Viet Nam’s National Day (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2022).
On behalf of officials and employees of the Consulate General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang, Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang sent his warm wishes and solidarity to the leaders of the City’s Party Committee, Government, and people.
Overview of the meeting with Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang
Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang expressed his joy and appreciation for the great and historically significant achievements of the Party, Government, and people of Viet Nam in the cause of national construction, development, and defense over the past 77 years. In particular, it is remarkable that Viet Nam has created a stable political, increasingly developed socio-economic environment, becoming a modern, prosperous, happy industrialized country as people’s lives are increasingly improved, and its position is increasingly affirmed in the region and in the international arena.
In that general context, Da Nang has continuously developed, becoming an economic and tourist center and a city worth living. Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang believed that in the coming time, Da Nang will develop more and more brilliantly.
On behalf of the City’s Party Committee, Government, and people, Secretary of the City’s Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang thanked the wishes and affections of Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang and extended his thanks to the Embassy of the Lao PDR in Viet Nam, the Party, State and people of the Lao PDR as well as the provinces of South Central Laos.
According to Secretary of the City’s Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang, Viet Nam’s achievements over the past 77 years have had many contributions and assistance from the Party, State, and people of the Lao PDR. Along with the general development of the country, Da Nang City has had a short development process but always has a close companion and cooperation relationship with Laos localities, especially the South Central provinces of Laos.
Secretary of the City’s Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang believed that in the coming time, the friendly relationship between both countries would continue to greatly develop; simultaneously, with his roles and responsibilities, Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang would make important contributions to the development of the relationship between Viet Nam and Laos in general and between Da Nang and the South Central provinces of Laos in particular, so that the friendship between both countries would be forever prosperous and eternally sustainable.
