In the afternoon of December 6th, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the City Mr. Ho Ky Minh chaired the meeting and worked with All-China Journalists Association led by Mr. Xiang Zeying, Chairman of Chongqing Daily Newspaper Group. At the meeting, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh introduced an overview of the city's socio-economic situation to All-China Journalists Association. Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh said that currently the city was focusing on implementing Resolution no. 43-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Da Nang City to 2030, with vision to 2045; accordingly, identifying the vision of building Da Nang City into a large, ecological, and intelligent city, a hub for start-ups and innovation and a world-class living coastal city of Asia by 2045; in particular, focusing on developing 5 key areas: tourism and high quality services associated with resort real estate; seaports and airports associated with logistics services; high-tech industry associated with the creation of innovative urban centers and start-ups; smart technology industry, electronics and telecommunications associated with the digital economy; high-tech agricultural and fishery products.

Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh added that, besides Resolution no. 43-NQ/TW, the city is focusing on the implementation of the Resolution of the 21st Party Congress, in particular, implementing the plan to address inadequacies and sustainable development, while continuing to promote investment attraction.
Sharing at the meeting, Chairman of Chongqing Daily Newspaper Group, Mr. Xiang Zeying said that the visit of the All-China Journalists Association was conducted under the mandate of the All-China Journalists Association. The main purpose of the visit was to exchange and learn from Viet Nam - a neighboring country of China. At the same time, he expressed his desire to receive input from city leaders to promote the cooperation of both sides.
