Accordingly, the Department of Health requested the pharmacies in the city to proactively develop and implement a plan to store medicines and medical supplies (particularly medical masks and alcohol-based hand sanitizers) to ensure the availability of medicines and medical supplies to serve disease prevention for the people.

At the same time, the Department also requested that the pharmacies absolutely do not speculate, increase medicine prices or restrict customers (including foreign guests) wishing to buy medicines and medical supplies for epidemic prevention.

The Department of Health assigned the Department's Inspectorate to coordinate with relevant units to strengthen inspection and resolutely handle violations of the professional pharmacy regulations in the area, especially focusing on ensuring medicine prices, detecting fake medicines and poor quality medicines.
