From 16 to 20 July, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism collaborated with Vietnam Airlines, the country’s flag carrier, and the Furama Resort, to welcome a delegation of journalists from the Sun Herald Magazine of Sydney, Australia to visit Son Tra Peninsula, the Marble Mountains, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, resorts, hotels, restaurants and tourism facilities of the city.
The Sun Herald delegation will introduce Da Nang’s tourism potential on their return to Australia. The trip is part of the strategy to promote Da Nang’s image to key markets in the world in 2010.
This September, two road shows publicising Da Nang tourism will be held in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan with the support of Vietnam Airlines.
