It’s a simple act but it should be honored: 126 houses are being handed over to underprivileged women and children in Da Nang City.

The city’s charity association that aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged women and children should be applauded for their efforts to help those most in need with a roof over their heads and a place to raise their families.

 

The 14th National Informatics Competition for schoolchildren held by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Informatics Association, Vietnam Television and the Danang People’s Committee ended on 31 July with three first prizes in three groups of Table D – Creative Software going to Danang.
 

On 24 July, the vice-chairman of the Danang People’s Committee met the police delegation from Vientiane, Laos PDR led by Colonel Sihun Sithilusay - director of Vientiane Police Department, and 13 members.

 

 

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, Danang received 11 projects using ODA capital since the beginning of this year. Most focus on investment in and upgrade of infrastructure, traffic and medical facilities; water loss and supply management techniques; and education, with total funding of over 285.43 million USD.
 

The Peace Boat berthed at Tien Sa Port on 30 September carrying more than 1,000 passengers, most from Japan. They visited the Uncle Ho’s House, the Zone 5  Military Museum, the Champa Museum and the Marble Mountains and went shopping.
