PROCEDURES
Two sets of dossier are needed, including:
1. An official documents signed by the employing agency under the management of the Danang People's Committee must be submitted to the Danang People's Committee and the Department of Foreign Affairs. Details are as follows:
- Applicant (full name, position etc)
- Purpose of journey
- Destination and period of stay
- Expenses (please clarify cost items and provide certified document if funded by foreign countries)
- Document approving employees to go abroad for vacation or study
2. Invitation letter: An original or a copy authenticated by a State agency or approved by the employing leader (in English and Vietnamese). If in English, the translated version must be done by competent bodies;
3. In cases of going abroad to make economic contracts, please attach an economic contract (a copy must be authenticated by the State or employing leaders);
4. Employees or workers with one-year labor contracts must provide a copy of the contract authenticated by the State or employing leaders);
5. Employees managed by the Danang Party Committee must submit to the Party Committee for approval before the People's Committee issues a decision on authorizing employees to go abroad;
6. The secretary of the Municipal Party Committee going abroad must seek the approval of the Vietnamese Politburo and the Central Party Division for Foreign Affairs;
7. The chairman of the People's Council and the chairman of the People's Committee going abroad must have the approval of the Vietnamese Prime Minister.
