The Da Nang People’s Committee has given approval for the Viet Nam Performing Arts Centre of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to cooperate with TNT Theatre Britain to bring “Oliver Twist” to audiences in the city. The adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic tale will be presented at Trung Vuong Theatre on 9 May.
This will be their third show in Da Nang following on from their successful performances of “A Christmas Carol” in 2009 and “Macbeth” in 2011.
TNT theatre was founded in 1980 in Britain, and since then has established itself as one of the most popular international touring theatre companies in the world. TNT has received regular funding from the UK Arts Council. Their productions have toured more than thirty countries on four continents with performances in such cities as Beijing, Jerusalem, Paris, Tokyo, London and Berlin. |
