After more than two months from April 25 to June 30, the "Understanding Danang Tourism" contest launched by the Danang Department of Tourism successfully ended with 20 units and 102 individuals participating. All entries were of high quality with good illustration and meaningful proposals, expressing the Danang people’s love and responsibility for the city's tourism development.
The Organisation Board decided to give an individual first prize of VND5mil to Mai Thuy Han, student of the Danang Teacher’s Training College, and a team second prize to the October 20th pre-school. The award ceremony will be held on Vietnamese Tourism Day (9 July 2005) at the Danang Culture-Tourism Festival 2005.
