ABAC: The Bogor Goals of One Prosperous Community

Building towards the Bogor goals with one community is the direction of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in 2009. The direction is with a view towards the summit of 21 leaders of the Asia-Pacific economies that is to take place at the end of the year in Singapore.

Organization Board for 3rd annual ABAC meeting established
The Danang People’s Committee has established the Organization Board for the third annual meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in Danang. Vice-chairman Van Huu Chien of the Danang People’s Committee will head the Board.

Danang asks to be an ABAC host city

To contribute to publicizing the images and potentials of the city, the Danang People’s Committee has requested the President’s Office, Government’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to approve Danang as the host city for the third annual meeting of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC).
