I. Cooperative relationships
- In July 1999, a delegation led by First Vice-chairman of the Danang PC Huynh Nam visited  Nhizegorod and Iaroslavl provinces and two MoUs on Economic, Commercial, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation with Nhizegorod Province and Iaroslavl Province were signed.
- In January 2000, a delegation of Nhizegorod Province led by Mr. S.L Zimin, Director of the Provincial Department of Foreign Economy and Potential visited  Danang. 
- In June 2000, an Iaroslavl Province delegation led Mr. A.G Fiođorov, Vice-governor of  the Province visited to Danang. An MoU for strengthening commercial relationship between the two localities was signed by the Iaroslavl Committee for Market and Consumption and the Danang Department of Commerce.
- In January 2001,  an Iaroslavl delegation led by Mr. A.G Fiođorov Vice governor visited the Danang Spring Fair 2001. Director of the Danang Department of Commerce and Director of the Iaroslavl Department of Industry and Transport signed a memorandum of implemented works from the MoU signed in June 2000 between the Danang Department of Trade and the Iaroslvl Provincial Committee of Market and Consumption.
- In May 2001, a delegation led by Danang PC first vice-chairman Huynh Nam visited Nhizegorod Province and took part in a trade fair in Iaroslavl Province. Businesspeople took the opportunity to sign MoUs on commodities exchange and cooperation.
- In October 2001, a mission group on local cooperation of the Russia-Vietnam Inter-Governmental Committee on Economic, Commercial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation led by Mr. V.A Kirpichnhikov, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Federal Affairs, Ethnic and Residence Policies cum chief of the mission group and Mr. Fiodorov A.G, deputy governor of Iaroslavl Province cum representative of enterprises of Iaroslavl Province visited Danang. 
- In June 2002, a Danang delegation led by Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, vice-chairman of the Danang PC visited Iaroslav Province. The delegation also attended the trade fair in the province. Some MoUs on commodities exchange and cooperation were signed. 

II. Relations with Russian localities

1. Iaroslavl Province
* May 2001
- The vice general director of Vonga Agency visited to Danang and met the director of the Danang Automobile Mechanical Factory to discuss the  import of some 3 -5 tonne trucks and bus chassis from Russia.
-The chief of the Technical Office of Kholodmash Company met with Damefa Company to discuss the import of some basic refrigeration equipment and presented some technical refrigeration materials for  establishing a fridge manufacturing joint venture company.
- In September 2001, representatives of the Sovitcom Company and some overseas Vietnamese in Russia worked with Embroidery Carpet Company and Leather Handbag Enterprise in Danang. Since November 2001, three containers of clothes, jeans, wooden carpets and leather handbags worth US$128,000 have been exported. 

* May 2002: A delegation led by Danang PC Vice-chairman Hoang Tuan Anh paid a working visit to Iaroslav Province.
- Leaders of the two localities made great efforts to implement commitments already pledged. Favorable conditions would be given to businesspeople to implement their cooperative trends. During the visit, confidence, mutual understanding and the long-term relationship between Danang and Iaroslavl Province were steadily consolidated.
- Resulting from the visit, the Danang Automobile Mechanical Factory signed a contract to import 10 sets of compressors and refrigeration equipment to assemble fridges, to display foodstuffs and for sale in Vietnam. If the products are accepted, a refrigerator manufacturing joint venture enterprise at the Danang Automobile Mechanical Factory will be established by the end of 2004. The factory plans to form an automobile engines manufacturing joint venture. Negotiations on purchasing UAZ and  PAZ buses chassis to assemble DAMEFA-vehicle were also promoted.
- The Danang Industrial Chemical Company cooperated with the Carbon Black Manufacturing Factory to produce about 5,000 tonnes of carbon black a year.
- The Danang Import-Export Processing Company had talks with the foodstuff processing and commercial company of the Iaroslavl Chambre of Commerce and Industry. The talk was aimed exporting 100 tonnes of rice and 2- 4 containers of pork every month. 

* September 2003: A senior delegation of Yaroslavl Province led by Mr. Lisitsyn Anatoly, Governor of Yaroslavl Province visited Danang. The visit aimed at strengthening the cooperative relationships established over the past five years. After official talks with the city authorities and enterprises, the delegation visited Hoi An Old Town, Non Nuoc Mable Carving Village, Danang University, Danang Hospital and some enterprises.
