Charges depend on the number of seats. Four-passenger taxis charge VND 13,000 flag fall and up to two kilometres and then VND 6,500 per kilometre. Seven-passenger taxis charge VND 14,000 flag fall and up to two kilometres and VND then 7,000 per kilometre. Mai Linh taxi company has deluxe taxis with charges of VND 7,500 per kilometre. If going for a long distance, you can ask taxi drivers to negotiate with company for better package prices.
Public buses:
Danang’s public buses have not developed. However, there are buses to city’s main destinations, Ba Na tourist zone, Hoi An Old Town and some localities of Quang Nam Province along the National Highway 1A.
- From Danang to Ba Na: Buses depart at 6:30 a.m, 9:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m, and stop at 29 Dien Bien Phu Street, the March 29th Park, Ly Thai To, Hung Vuong, Bach Dang and Phan Dinh Phung streets, Con market, Hue and Hoa Khanh T-junctions, Mo Stream and the An Loi bridge.
- From Danang to Kim Lien: Buses are frenquently available and stops at 29 Dien Bien Phu St., the Hue T-junction, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Luong Bang and Kim Lien streets.
- From Danang to Hoi An: Buses are frequently available and stop at 29 Dien Bien Phu St, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Trung Nu Vuong and Nui Thanh streets, the Nguyen Van Troi bridge, Ngu Hanh Son and Le Van Hien streets and the road from Dien Ngoc to Hoi An.
- From Danang to Ai Nghia: Buses are frequently available and stop at 29 Dien Bien Phu St. - Nguyen Tri Phuong St. - Nguyen Van Linh St.- Hoang Dieu St. - Trung Nu Vuong St. - Nui Thanh St. – September 2th street – August Revolution St. – the Hoa Cam T-junction - Tuy Loan - Hoa Khuong - Dai Hiep - Ai Nghia.

Motobikes are available everywhere and will take you to anywhere. Price negotiable.

You can catch pedicabs along the streets or at hotels. These pedicabs have stainless steel frames and red folding hoods with Danang logos in the back. Pedicab riders wear the uniforms with yellow shirts, dark blue trousers and yellow hats.
You can also catch other cyclos on the streets. However, it is advisable to bargain in advance. Avarage charges are VND 3,000 - 4,000 per kilometre.
Bicycles and motorcycles for hire:
You can hire bicycles or motorcycles at the shops near hotels. It is advisable for you to ask the hotels’ receptionists for help.
Price varies from VND 70,000 to VND100,000 per day.
