The Danang Foreign Affairs Department and Children of Vietnam (COV) signed an Agreement on the Implemetation of Projects Funded by Children of Vietnam on October 4 2005. Accordingly, twenty programs and projects for Danang City totalling USD187,855 will be funded by COV in 2006. These programs and projects focussed on helping poor and disabled children in health care, nutrition, education and medical equipment.
Children of Vietnam is an American non-governmental organization. Operating in Danang for nearly 6 years, it has sponsored many projects and programs in helping poor people and orphaned and disabled children.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Director of the Danang Foreign Affairs Department thanked COV for its support and contribution over the past time and committed to cooperate with relevant agencies to implement the funded projects effectively.
